Setting Up a Workspace for RDConnects@Home
We strongly suggest that students have designated Learning Spaces in their homes. A designated learning space is a quiet, dedicated area set up for learning free of distractions to the best extent possible.
Learning Spaces Needs:
Flat surface – desk or table
Comfortable chair
Headphones
Outlet for a laptop/Chromebook charger
Enough space for a laptop and the ability to write using a pen/pencil
Storage for general class materials (see below)
Free of distractions – both visual and auditory
Not in front of a window
Away from siblings or parents on Zoom calls (if/when possible)
