2025-26 PGA Welcome Letter

Welcome back to school! We hope everyone had a wonderful summer. We are back for one more year to serve as your Parent Guardian Association Co-Presidents, and we are excited to see everyone back at school this fall to kick off the 2025-2026 academic year at Redwood Day.

 

This year, we hope to build on the connections we’ve formed with parents, guardians, and students over the years, while bringing our community together with all the new families, faculty, and staff. We are confident that our values of inclusion, belonging, community engagement, and respect will forge deeper relationships and ensure everyone feels welcome at school.

 

All parents and guardians are members of the PGA, and we value your contributions, no matter how big or small. Your involvement will add to the nurturing and enriching environment for our students. We encourage you to participate in our activities and events, as they are excellent opportunities to connect with other families and contribute to our vibrant school community.

 

We will continue to host a variety of events throughout the year, including community-building activities, speakers, affinity groups, and our annual auction party. There are so many ways to be a part of these events and activities - please don’t hesitate to ask us more about how you can be involved! Our first PGA meeting is planned for September 17, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Zoom, and we invite you all to join. Whether you’re a new family or a returning family considering involvement for the first time, this meeting will be a great way to learn more about what we do, share your ideas, and get to know other parents and guardians.
