The Annual Fund: Fueling Excellence at Redwood Day

At Redwood Day, the Annual Fund is the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts, ensuring every student receives an exceptional educational experience. While tuition covers the majority of our operating costs, the Annual Fund bridges the gap, allowing us to go above and beyond for our students, teachers, and community.

Annual Fund support allows the School to meet the current year’s operational priorities and to meaningfully grow the experience of every one of our students.

Gifts to the Annual Fund directly impact the day-to-day life of Redwood Day by supporting:

• World-class Curriculum and Student Programs: Elevating learning through innovative and enriching experiences, both inside and outside of the classroom.

• Comprehensive Faculty Development: Empowering our educators with cutting-edge training and resources in order to attract, develop, and retain a diverse, highly qualified, and culturally competent faculty and staff.

• Robust Tuition Assistance Program: Remaining accessible to a wide range of families, resulting in an economically diverse community.Creating opportunities for a diverse, inclusive community.

We strive for 100% participation from our families, faculty/staff, and trustees because every gift makes a difference. A personally meaningful contribution enriches the Redwood Day experience for everyone. Together, we create a community that values equity, innovation, and excellence.

When to Give

To help us maximize the impact of every dollar donated, we aim to have all pledges and gifts submitted by December 31 and all pledges fulfilled by the end of our fiscal year on June 30.

Ways to Give

We accept gifts via credit card, check, stock transfers, wire transfers, Donor Advised Funds, cryptocurrency, directly through your workplace, and Legacy and Planned Giving contributions. Please visit our WAYS TO GIVE page for more information.

Pledges: Spread your payments out over the academic year
We understand it may be easier to spread your giving over time. Many families choose to make their gift in installments throughout the school year via monthly credit card payments, or pledge now and fulfill it later in the spring. YOU CAN SET UP YOUR PLEDGE HERE.

Matching Gifts

Make your gift go further! Many employers match donations to non-profits, doubling or even tripling the impact of your generosity. Check with your HR department or CLICK HERE and use our employer search tool to see if your company participates in a matching gift program.
