Generations Day Is Friday, November 22, 2019

Parents and guardians, please do the following things as soon as possible!

  • Fill out the invitation form so that we know who you would like to invite! Even if you are a returning family, we need to know who you want to invite this year. Invitations will only be sent to the guests submitted through the form.
  • Please note that as part of the invitation we invite all guests to send in a message and picture for their student(s). These Memory Forms will go up on display in the gallery. Many families like to send invitations to grandparents, relatives, and special friends for this reason, even if they know that they cannot attend the event.
  • Email with your student’s name and grade if they do not have a special visitor able to attend the event.
  • Email your teacher or advisor AND if your student will not be attending Generations Day this year.
Generations Day is a longstanding Redwood Day tradition of inviting grandparents, relatives, and special friends to get a glimpse of what our students experience every day. Guests visit classrooms, see musical performances, and leave with a photo to remember the day.

The performances will be outside, weather permitting, so please bring layers!

To assist with our arrival procedures we request that you plan to come to campus no earlier than 11:15 a.m. to check-in.

If your student(s) will not be leaving with their guest(s), please refer to the adjusted dismissal times below. X-Care will be open for students staying on campus.

We recommend that you get dropped off or use a rideshare service as parking on campus is limited. The School’s parking lots will be reserved for you, first come, first served. Disabled parking spots will be clearly marked. If there is no parking lot space available when you arrive, please park on MacArthur Blvd. or Redwood Day’s side of Sheffield Ave. (NOT on Sausal nor the opposite side of Sheffield Ave).
