The 6th Grade Founders Museum

During our Founders unit, the 6th-Grade students were asked to apply their knowledge by creating civilizations of their very own. In groups of five or six, students imagined every aspect of their newly-flourishing societies: religion, language, government, economics, shelter, clothing, recreation, and more. All their brainstorming was guided by an essential question: What makes a civilization successful? Today, students presented final displays of their societies.
