Redwood Day parents and guardians are invited to join Educational consultant, Dr. Jude Wolf, Ed.D. via Zoom on Wednesday, March 1 from 6-7:30 p.m. as she leads a discussion on how to develop strategies to support your child's executive functioning skills. Such strategies can help children manage time, pay attention, switch focus, plan and organize, multitask, etc. This virtual event is for Redwood Day parents and guardians only. WHAT IS EXECUTIVE FUNCTIONING? Executive functioning skills help your child get things done. These skills are controlled by an area of the brain called the frontal lobe. Executive function helps your child: - Manage time - Multitask - Pay attention - Do things based on experience - Switch focus - Remember details - Plan and organize - Avoid saying or doing the wrong thing - Learn concrete strategies to support your child’s organizational skills.
