Ally Week

Last week, Redwood Day participated in Ally week, a national youth-led effort encouraging students to be allies with the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) members of their community in standing against bullying, harassment and name-calling. All members of the community were encouraged to answer the question, "What does it mean to be an Ally" in their own words on paper hearts which created a beautiful heart wall display.
