Wild Cats Visit Redwood Day

During today's all-school assembly, students were visited by our friends from The Wild Cat Education and Conservation Fund, who brought three beautiful and amazing wild cats. Our students had the opportunity to learn a lot about wild cats, including the difference between a domestic cat and a wild cat. They also learned what, when, and where wild cats hunt and eat, as well as how they mark their territory.  The three wild cats that the students got to see were an ocelot named Chachi, a 5-month old snow leopard named Bhutan, and a black leopard named Kanika.
