3B Studying Bay Area History

3B took to the Redwoods to learn about Bay Area history before 1772, by reading and writing about traditional Ohlone stories collected by Linda Yamane, a Rumsien Ohlone scholar and basket weaver. The stories give students an opportunity to learn about the Bay Area's first people from its first people. Through the stories, students are also introduced to the Bay Area's oldest languages, many of which are still spoken today. #redwoodday #growintogreat
