| Call us or visit our website to request information and schedule a time to visit us. Our website will give you a detailed look at our curriculum, program information, admissions policies, and application materials. |
| Step 2: Connect With Us |
| We invite you to connect with Redwood Day during the admissions process to get to know our faculty, staff, and community. Admissions events will be both virtual and in-person. Please visit our Visit Redwood Day page for more information on upcoming events. |
| Step 3: Apply to Redwood Day |
| Priority (Current Redwood Day families, siblings of alumni, and faculty/staff children) Application Due Date: October 14, 2025 Optional Early Application Due Date: December 19, 2025 ($65 application fee) Final Application Due Date: January 16, 2026 ($100 application fee) Although applications are not due until January 16, 2026, we ask that families ready to apply earlier do so by December 19, 2025 (with a reduced application fee!). Applications can be submitted online. We’ll confirm receipt of your application within one week. |
| Step 4: Assessments and Testing |
January and February 2026—You will be able to register for your assessments after you submit your application. We will contact you to schedule an assessment once we receive it. ASSESSMENTSOur assessments allow the Admissions Committee and additional faculty to get to know your child from both a social-emotional and academic perspective. An assessment is just one way we learn how a child will connect with, benefit from, and add to the learning community at Redwood Day. |

| Admissions decisions will be communicated to families by Redwood Day (and all East Bay Independent Schools) on March 19, 2026. Tuition Assistance decisions will be communicated at the same time. Please reach out to us if you would like to visit one last time or talk with anyone within our community. Enrollment Decisions for families are due back to Redwood Day on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. |

| Optional early admissions application deadline to guarantee a parent/guardian interview ($65 application fee). |
| January 16, 2026 |
| Admissions applications for the 2026-27 school year are due ($100 application fee). |
| January 31, 2026 |
| All supplemental documents should be uploaded through School Admin: fall report card, previous two years' report cards, and letter of recommendation. |
| February 6, 2026 |
| Enrollment materials for the 2026-27 Redwood Day enrollment will be sent to returning Redwood Day families electronically on February 7. Contracts and enrollment deposits must be submitted electronically by 12:00 p.m. on February 13, 2026. |
| March 19, 2026 |
| Prospective Redwood Day families can expect to receive emailed Admissions decisions this afternoon. Family decisions will be due back the following Thursday, March 20. These dates are shared by all member schools of the East Bay Independent Schools Association (EBISA). |
| March 26, 2026 |
| Enrollment decisions and contracts from new Redwood Day families are due by 10:00 a.m. |

Middle School Assessment
All 2nd-5th Grade Applicants are required to participate in a Shadow Visit. You may register for these visits on the Admissions portal.
You will have access to register for your child's assessment after you submit your application.
