| Call us or visit our website to request information and schedule a time to visit us. Our website will give you a detailed look at our curriculum, program information, admissions policies, and application materials. |
| Step 2: Connect With Us |
| We invite you to connect with Redwood Day during the admissions process to get to know our faculty, staff, and community. Admissions events will be both virtual and in-person. Please visit our Visit Us page for more information on upcoming events. |
| Step 3: Apply to Redwood Day |
| Priority (Current Redwood Day families, siblings of alumni, and faculty/staff children) Application Due Date: October 16, 2026 Optional Early Application Due Date: December 18, 2026 ($65 application fee) Final Application Due Date: January 15, 2027 ($100 application fee) Although applications are not due until January 15, 2027, we ask that families ready to apply earlier do so by December 18, 2026 (with a reduced application fee!). Applications can be submitted online. We’ll confirm receipt of your application within one week. |
| Step 4: Assessments and Testing |
January and February 2027 — You will be able to sign up for your screenings/assessments after you submit your application. SCREENING/ASSESSMENTSOur assessments allow the Admissions Committee and additional faculty to get to know your child from both a social-emotional and academic perspective. An assessment is just one way we learn how a child will connect with, benefit from, and add to the learning community at Redwood Day. |

| Admissions decisions will be communicated to families by Redwood Day (and all East Bay Independent Schools) on March 11, 2027. Tuition Assistance decisions will be communicated at the same time. Enrollment Decisions for families are due back to Redwood Day on Thursday, March 18, 2027, at 10:00 a.m. |

| Optional early admissions application deadline to guarantee a parent/guardian interview ($65 application fee). |

| Admissions applications for the 2027-28 school year are due ($100 application fee). |

| Enrollment materials for 2027-28 Redwood Day enrollment will be sent to returning Redwood Day families electronically on February 5. Contracts and enrollment deposits must be submitted electronically by February 12, 2027, by 12:00 p.m. |

| Re-enrollment Contracts and deposits are due for returning families by 10:00 a.m. |
| March 11, 2027 |
| Prospective Redwood Day families can expect to receive emailed Admissions decisions this afternoon. Family decisions will be due back the following Thursday, March 18. These dates are shared by all member schools of the East Bay Independent Schools Association (EBISA). |

| Enrollment decisions and contracts from new Redwood Day families are due by 10:00 a.m. |

All 2nd-5th Grade Applicants are required to participate in a Shadow Visit. You may register for these visits on the Admissions portal.
You will have access to register for your child's assessment after you submit your application.
