ASSEMBLIES:
THE Heartbeat of Our Community

Assemblies are joyful moments when our entire K–8 community gathers to learn, celebrate, and connect.

Filled with laughter, applause, and inspiration, these special gatherings highlight the spirit of our School.

Each assembly offers something new—cultural performances, storytelling, music, dance, and lessons in character and kindness. Students, teachers, and guest presenters all have the chance to take the stage, share their talents, and inspire their peers.

Every assembly ends with one of our favorite traditions: recognizing students who have gone above and beyond through acts of kindness, leadership, and care for others. It’s a time to cheer one another on and feel proud of the community we’re building together.

Our assemblies at Redwood Day are vibrant celebrations of learning, connection, and global perspective. Throughout the year, we intentionally partner with performers, artists, and educators from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, bringing rich and varied traditions directly to our students. These experiences not only entertain and inspire, but also deepen understanding, spark curiosity, and reflect our commitment to honoring diverse voices and stories within our community and beyond.
