When the school day ends, the fun and exploration continue. In our after-school program, students play, relax, discover new interests, and build lasting friendships through creative projects, clubs, and enrichment classes.
The excitement carries into summer camps that blend creative play, outdoor fun, and laughter-filled days. Redwood Day students and new friends from across the East Bay come together to explore, create, and form meaningful bonds through unforgettable experiences.
X-Care Registration for Fall 2026 is Now Open
X-Care registration is open! This school year, we will continue to provide multiple billing options for families to choose from based on their needs. As a reminder, X-Care is flexible, and there is no need to register in advance for and drop in use is always an option for families. Please review our different billing options below and register in UltraCamp.
- X-Care Unlimited Plan - The X-Care Unlimited plan is our recommended plan for K-5th Grade students who stay regularly after school. This plan allows for anytime drop-in use of X-Care and discounted registrations for our school year camps (e.g., Grading Days and Conference Days, but does not apply to our Mid-Winter Break Camp Week). There is an unlimited plan available for 6th-8th-grade students at a different price listed below.
- X-Care Unlimited Plan - $3,950
- X-Plus Unlimited Plan - $2,850
- X-Care 1st Trimester Plan - This plan allows for anytime use of X-Care during individual trimester windows. This plan does not include any discounts for our school year camps.
- X-Care 1st Trimester Plan - $1,400
- X-Plus 1st Trimester Plan - $1,010
- X-Care Drop-in Plan - Our X-Care & X-Plus drop-in plan is available at $18 per hour. Students can drop in as needed, but are billed at the end of each month for their after-school hours in UltraCamp.
*All families who receive discounted tuition are able to apply their discount towards their X-Care registrations.

Daily activity time lets students choose how to spend their afternoons, while enrichment classes offer the chance to explore more structured interests. Families and students work together to select the right fit, balancing independence with guided opportunities for growth.
CReating Shared Moments
After school time is a time for teaming up on a project, laughing with friends, or discovering a new talent together. It is also a time when friendships grow and memorable moments take shape. Our incredible aftercare staff creates welcoming spaces where students feel supported and connected every step of the way.
This Is Growing Up
X-Plus gives middle schoolers the freedom to decide how their afternoons unfold. Catch up on homework in a quiet space, attend office hours with your teachers, or hang out with friends under the trees. With the right mix of independence, structure, and fun, this is your space to focus, recharge, and grow.
Lead the Way
The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) program gives alumni and college students the chance to step up, take charge, and inspire the next generation. CITs gain hands-on experience in teamwork and problem-solving while building confidence as leaders and role models. It’s a unique opportunity to grow, give back, and lead with purpose.

to keep your students engaged and help them continue to learn and grow. Most campers don’t realize they are learning because our camps are also fun!
SUMMER discovery
We believe that summer shouldn’t be a "pause" button on your child’s development—it should be a launchpad. While our after-school program builds the foundation, our Summer Program takes that curiosity further. We aim to transform the traditional summer break into an immersive time of discovery where our students engage in hands-on exploration that keeps their minds sharp and their spirits adventurous.
