FALL 2023 ASP ENRICHMENT CLASSES

Redwood Day offers students the opportunity to explore talents and interests outside of the school curriculum. Instructors are dedicated educators within the school community and the greater Bay Area.

ENROLLMENT: Registration opens Monday, August 21. Everyone must register online. Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollments are not met. If a class does not meet its minimum enrollment and is canceled, families will be notified and reimbursed for the class.

CHANGES/CANCELLATIONS: In order to provide some flexibility in our programs, all classes may be canceled after the first week with a full refund. Unfortunately, after our second class, we cannot provide any refunds for classes.

BILLING: Students attending enrichment classes must sign in to Extended Care at dismissal. In order to sign up for our enrichment offerings at the rate listed, you need to be enrolled in our X-Care or X-Plus program.  As you will notice in the class descriptions, a different rate is listed for students not enrolled in X-Care or X-Plus. If you are not enrolled in our X-Care or X-Plus program by the beginning of the enrichment session, you will be charged an additional fee in UltraCamp but this is not due at registration.

If you are looking to utilize your discounted tuition rate for our after-school program registration, simply enter your student’s information in the format of First Initial, Last Name for the discount code [e.g., John Smith would be JSmith]. There are no spaces or hyphens in your discount code.

REGISTRATION: Register through UltraCamp. A registration link will be active beginning Monday, August 21.

No classes will be held on conference days, in-service days, school holidays, or school vacations, and all class dates are listed in the registration information for each course.

The primary focus is to increase familiarity with space to enable children to develop team skills in a game environment. Emphasis is placed on the awareness of teammates constantly so that these skills can be easily transferred into the soccer game. The futsal-style scrimmage games help improve players' decision-making skills, provide more touches on the ball, increase opportunities for 1v1 scenarios to develop more creative players, and vastly improve reaction time. Soccer Stars coaches work to help each player develop game awareness while encouraging the use of the proper technique where appropriate.
