  • Extended Assembly: 13th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Oratorical Festival

    MS Gym
Please join us as we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the power of oration at Redwood Day's 13th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Oratorical Festival. This year's theme is, "The Time Is Always Right To Do The Right Thing." School-wide assemblies provide an incredible opportunity for our K-8 community to gather to educate, celebrate and entertain. Performances may include class presentations, solo and group performances by faculty, staff, and students, as well as professional performances. Performing students are embodying healthy risk-taking and the community actively supports these endeavors. Every assembly closes with honoring, a time in which individuals recognize members of the community who have made a (small or big) difference in their lives. For more information, please contact Denise Breland, Director of Student Life at dbreland@rdschool.org.
