Important Information About Winter Concert

This year, we will host an in-person Winter Concert here on campus with one program for K-8! The concert will take place on Friday, December 16, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. This will be a regular school day with the usual drop-off schedule.

To ensure a wonderful event for everyone, please plan for the following:

We are offering valet parking starting at 12:30 p.m. Please do not arrive any earlier than 12:30 p.m. The campus will not be open for guests until 12:30 p.m. as we need to ensure all our students eat lunch, enjoy recess, etc. As with all of our events, we highly encourage carpooling, bicycling, walking, or public transit (the 57 bus stops on MacArthur and Sheffield), for the sake of event traffic and the environment.
Two family members can attend per family; we cannot accommodate more than two family members. We will be recording the concert for any family members who cannot join us that afternoon.
Masks are encouraged but not required.
All students must dress appropriately for the Winter Concert. Some students like to dress up for the event; this is not required, but please be mindful of sending your child to school in appropriate clothes for a concert event.
Kindergarten students will participate in a traditional processional with our 8th-grade students.
We highly encourage all students to go home with family members after the concert ends. This will help minimize any confusion for everyone after the event ends.
X-Care and X-Plus will be available for students who are already registered and whose parents or guardians cannot attend Winter Concert. Please note, if your child stays for X-Care/X-Plus, 5:00 p.m. is the latest your child can be picked up on this day.
The program will take place outside in our Performance Area. We will be monitoring the weather forecast for the week of December 12-16. If there is a high degree of certainty for rain on Friday, December 16, we will host the concert on Thursday, December 15, with the same parameters as listed above. If we host the concert earlier in the week due to rain, the School will remain in session through the end of the day on Friday, December 16.
