Gift Certificates & Student Accounts
Each Redwood Day student visits the Book Fair early in the week with their class so they can find books of interest to them and add them to their personal wish list (you might see one come home in your child’s backpack). They can also visit before school and during recess to shop later in the week, or with you after school.
The easiest way for kids to purchase books is by using a pre-paid student account you have created for them. Alternatively, they can bring in cash or you can come and shop with (or without) your child.
You can set up an account online HERE
and put money in for your child(ren) to use. The idea is that they can have a budget to spend at the Book Fair so they don't need to bring cash to school. Any remainders from student accounts at the end of the week are donated to the library, although we do our best to make sure that students use as much of their account money as possible.
Please be aware that student accounts must be set up by November 22.
If you wish to purchase a gift certificate for a Redwood Day faculty and/or staff member or student who is not your child, fill out THIS
online form and pay by credit card.
Gift certificates must be purchased prior to November 22nd. All gift certificates must be redeemed at the Book Fair. Any money remaining on the gift certificate at the end of the Book Fair will be donated to the Redwood Day Library.
See links in the sidebar to purchase a student account or gift certificate (both forms have the option to make a BookShare donation, which is used to purchase books for Oakland public elementary schools).
