Redwood Day Honors the Oakland Pride Parade and Festival
On Sunday, September 11, parents, faculty and staff participated in the Oakland Pride Parade and Festival. This is our second year walking in the parade. This year we showed off our beautiful new school banner. Thank you to the Prism Committee who co sponsored this event. I would like to send out a special thank you to the following: Lori Thelen, Lara Lawrence, Jill Scott, Catherine Johnson, Monika Poxon, Katrina Lappin, and Emily Hedges for all of their participation along with their children. Please look for information in the Friday Folder about next year's parade towards the month of June. We would love to see a large turn out of our community next year.
