Student Accounts & Gift Certificates
A student account lets your child make purchases at the Book Fair without bringing money to school. You decide how much money to put in your student's account and whether it can be used only for books or also for other reading-, writing-, or education-related products.
How to Set Up a Student Account
To set up a student account for your child, complete a Student Account form and write a check to Books Inc. for the amount of the account. This information will be available at the Book Fair cashier’s desk; when your child makes a purchase, the cashier will deduct the amount from the student’s account.
How Your Child Uses the Account
Let your child know you’ve set up a student account, the amount that’s available, and whether you’ve made it “books only.” When a student comes to the cashier’s desk, the cashiers can determine whether the student has an account and, if so, how much is available to spend.
What Happens with Leftover Student Account or Gift Certificate Money?
If money remains in a student account or on a gift certificate at the end of the Book Fair, the balance will be donated to the School for the use of the Helen Dittmer Library on your behalf.
How Do I Purchase a Gift Certificate for the Personal Use of a Teacher or Staff?
Complete a gift certificate form and write a check to the RDSPGA for the amount. We will deliver the gift certificate to the recipient for his or her use during the Book Fair.
