Redwood Day School continues its mission-centric commitment to economic diversity and inclusion through its financial aid program. This assistance is intended as a supplement to family resources and is provided to families who have demonstrated financial need.

We recognize the complexity of a family's school decision and believe that Redwood Day School offers incredible education, is academically challenging and supportive, and deeply understands the importance of the arts, physical activity, and natural space. Students thrive and families connect with the community. As families consider tuition and financial options, we encourage you to become familiar with the extensive financial aid program at Redwood Day School.

The School follows guidelines for the evaluation of financial need established by the School and Student Services for Financial Aid (SSS) by the National Association of Independent Schools. SSS acts as an equitable outside resource in determining a family's financial resources available for educational spending. Redwood Day School grants are based on SSS recommendations.

Currently the Redwood Day School Board of Trustees allocates close to 15% of tuition revenue for financial aid. Approximately 25% of enrolled students receive financial assistance, with grants ranging from $1,000 to 95% of tuition.
