merchant rebate programs

Ways to Fund RDSPGA without Spending a Cent

In these programs, merchants make donation to the Redwood Day School Parents' and Guardians' Association (RDSPGA), and in most cases, it’s all automatic. Usually, you just sign up, then shop as you always do, and without a hitch, your child’s school reaps the rewards of special rebates from the merchants. Remember: Anyone can participate in these programs – parents, grandparents, friends – anyone.

Order Scrip Cards
Buy gift cards to use yourself or give as gifts. Each card provides full dollar value and the retailer contributes a percentage back to the RDS PGA (up to 17%). Check the merchant list on the scrip card order form (pdf).

Participating Online = No-Hassle, No Worries, No Cost to You
Here are four no-hassle ways to fund RDSPGA activities that cost you nothing:

  • Sign up at www.escrip.com, register your Safeway Club, debit card, and credit cards, and without you doing another thing, merchants will send RDSPGA rebates every time you shop, based on your purchases. Our eScrip ID number: 137330979.
  • Sign up at www.OneCause.com, download the OneCause toolbar, and RDSPGA will earn a percentage of the proceeds from your online shopping.
  • Shop at Lucky with a Lucky Shares card and Lucky will send RDSPA a 3% rebate on qualified purchases. Email Rachel Scholl to get a card.
  • Register your Target credit card, shop with it, and Target will send RDSPGA up to a 1% rebate on your purchases. All you do is register your Target credit card.
  • EcoMetro Guides: Go Green and Local
All about green and local products, merchants and ideas, the EcoMetro Guide is a coupon book, a directory, a source of ideas and inspiration—buy one (or more) for $20 and you’ll get valuable discounts at local and sustainable businesses while the RDSPGA will get up to $10 per book as a donation from EcoMetro. Email Rachel Scholl to order your EcoMetro Guide.
